Constructions with Variable Parameters and the Device for Correct the Tilt of the Buildings

Donbas National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture
Abstract. The article considers the technology improved technology device controlled foundations. The scheme developed device to regulate the vertical position extension. Finite-element model of multi-storey frame building on a slab foundation in the software package SAP2000 was developed. The study includes the development of finite-element model building and analysis of the results obtained in three stages: the first stage: a model of multi-storey building has an unbroken vertical position in extension, the second stage: the model of multi-storey buildings had tilt of 30 cm, the third step: using the developed device (namely the length of the bar control that simulates the operation of the device), the building has the correct vertical position in extension, the tilt of the slab foundation remained unchanged. The data on the stress-strain state of the elements of the frame in the building on the slab foundation in the process of regulation the vertical position in extension.
Keywords: adjustable foundation, frame building, tilt, finite-element model, SAP2000, strain-stress state, slab foundation, the vertical position of the building in extension.

The History of the Formation of the Building On The Territory Of Compact Settlement Of The Blind in the Central City District of the Town Makeyevka: Social and Architectural Town-Planning Aspects

Donbas National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture
Abstract. The article is devoted to the history of the formation and the current state of the building in the area of compact settlement of the blind in the Central City district of Makeyevka. The following time periods are considered: 60–80-ies of the 19 cent. – the transition from agriculture to the formation of large industrial infrastructure; 90-ies of 19 cent. – the construction of the settlement Dmitrievka (future business and administrative centre of the Central City district); 1-st–2-nd dec. of 20 cent. – the formation and development of social infrastructure of the settlement Dmitrievsk; 20-th–30-ies of 20 cent. – the reconstruction and reorganization of the town-formativ enterprises of Makeyevka mining area; 2-nd half of 30-ies–1-st half of 50-ies of 20 cent. – the formation and development of artel of town comradely society of the blind (branch of the Stalin artel of the blind), the beginning of the construction of housing and social objects for the blind; 2-nd half of the 50-ies–early 90-ies of 20 cent. – the formation and development of specialized educational and production enterprise of the Ukrainian comradely society of the blind, the active construction of housing for the blind; 90-ies of 20 cent.–1-st dec. of 21 cent. – partial and complete loss of some important objects of industrial and social infrastructure on the territory of the settlement of the blind. On the basis of the results of the research the conclusion about necessity of the reconstruction of the building on the territory of the settlement of the blind with a view to ensuring the labour places for the persons with disabilities and amenities of their social and consumer services is given.

Architectural Concepts of Buildings and Structures Within the Territories of Donbass Region Cities Having Rough Mining and Geological Conditions

Donbas National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture
Abstract. The article is concerned with the special features of architectural concepts of buildings and structures within the territories of Donbass region cities having rough mining and geological conditions. The types of these conditions and the nature of their impact on buildings and structures are generalized. The article also considers the architectural, urban-planning and constructional measures which are being taken during the designing, construction and use of buildings and structures for their protection within the territories having rough mining and geological conditions. The influence of these measures on the exterior of buildings and structures is analyzed, the specific examples of architectural concepts of objects are given. The article notes the role and potential of architectural concepts of objects within the territories having rough mining and geological conditions in formation and development of the unique architectural style of Donbas region cities. The possible directions of this development are indicated: compositional and artistic under-standing of rough mining and geological conditions, geodynamics processes, issue of buildings and structures sustainability; exposure of tectonics of interaction of underground and aboveground spaces with their specific contrast qualities; architectural visualization of projection on the daylight surface of the most important elements of mining and geological organization of underground space (tectonic thrust lines, borders and directions of underground coal mines workings, etc.).
Keywords: buildings and structures, rough mining and geological conditions, coal-mining industry, architecture and urban planning, Donbass region cities, regional architectural style, tectonics of interaction of underground and aboveground spaces.

Current Status of Regulations for Data Center Design

Donbas National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture
Abstract. The article analyzes the regulations for design of data centers. It is stated that the regulations of post-soviet countries, pertaining to the construction of this kind of buildings left over from the Soviet Union and has been designed for fundamentally different data centers, to date technologically and morally obsolete. Existing international standards governing design of data centers are advisory in nature and are largely for commercial certification purposes. At the present stage of data centers development the approach to their design requires a rethinking and update of the existing in a post-soviet countries rules and regulations to integrate them with international standards.

The Use of Mathematical Methods for Solving Urban Problems for Transport-Planning Structure of the City

Donbas National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture
Abstract. The article describes the main lines of research related to the use of different methods and approaches to address a variety of urban problems on the organization of transportation and city planning structure. On the basis of application of methods for determining the boundaries of the zone of influence of the city center and the average distance of urban areas, city zoning intensity relations, simulation and factor analysis, which allowed to identify a hierarchical system, as the basic model for the construction of transport-planning structure of the city. Modeling in a hierarchical manner allows us to consider the process of building the model at different levels of abstraction and detail within the framework of fixed notions. Connection is formed between the models, each of which may include lower level model. The theoretical reflections allowed to come to the conclusion on the establishment of an integrated model of transport-planning structure of the city.
Keywords: transport system, planning system, functional relationships, mathematical methods of urban analysis.
