Research of Energy Efficiency of Coal Transportation by Conveyor transport with Variable Cargo Flow from Coalface

Donetsk National Technical University
Abstract. One of the most important components of the mining industry is the delivery of cargo by conveyor transport. However, modern transportation methods are not sufficiently efficient in terms of energy consumption. This is due to the uneven flow of cargo from the lava during the work shift, which leads to three times the normative values of energy consumption. The present work is devoted to the urgent problem of finding ways to reduce the energy consumption of conveyor transport with variable cargo flow from lava in order to reduce the cost of coal production. Based on the developed virtual model, the dependences of the total energy consumption of the conveyors are obtained for various modes of belt speed control. It has been established that the most appropriate is the use of three-speed discrete control with criterion for reducing total energy consumption with an investment of minimum investment costs. An increase in the number of operating speeds of more than three does not give a significant increase in additional savings.

Factors Affecting the Reliability of Structural and Technological Solutions for Roof Systems of Spatial Curved Coatings

Donbas National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture
Abstract. The uniqueness of buildings and structures with spatial curvilinear coatings predetermines is determined by increased requirements for the reliability of their roofing systems. There are no recommendations and a regulatory framework in the practice of domestic design, that would take into account the influence of the geometric parameters of spatial curvilinear coatings and operating features (wind and snow loads, insolation, internal operating conditions) on the reliability of roofing systems of similar buildings and structures, including the conditions of heat and mass transfer in the insulating layer. The article analyzes and classifies the factors affecting the formation of a reliable structural and technological solution of roofing systems of spatial curvilinear coatings at all stages of the life cycle. The necessity of further research aimed at creating a methodology that takes into account the simultaneous influence of different factors on a particular roofing system in certain operating conditions is substantiated.
Keywords: roofing systems, spatial curvilinear coatings, reliability of a structural solution.

Investigation of Hydrodynamic Characteristics of an Ascending Cyclone Vortex

Donbas National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture
Abstract. Cyclones as the most characteristic representatives of dry inertial dust collectors are considered in the article, the study of gas-dynamic processes of an ascending cyclone vor-tex is carried out. In a rising vortex in addition to the drag force and the centrifugal force is the force due to the action of the radial pressure gradient and, therefore, it has two zones: the zone where the force due to the action of the radial pressure gradient exceeds the centrifugal force; and the area where the opposite centrifugal force exceeds the force due to the action of a radial pressure gradient. It is established that the boundary, where the centrifugal force is equal to the force due to the action of the radial pressure gradient, is equal to half the radius of the exhaust pipe and does not depend on the design and operational parameters of cyclones. The obtained dependence of the axial velocity in the ascending vortex has an inversely quadratic characteristic and is applicable to cyclones of any design.

Classification and Efficiency of Application of Outriggers of Ground Transport and Technological Machines

Donbas National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture
Abstract. The paper considers the existing designs of outriggers of various machines are used in the construction and reconstruction of buildings and structures, as well as in road construction. On the basis of the analysis, the classification of outriggers of ground transport and technological machines is proposed, which is based on the combination of linear and angular movements in three-dimensional space, performed by the elements of the outrigger when it is transferred from the transport position to the working one. The question of evaluating the effectiveness of various structures of outriggers in accordance with the proposed classification is considered. As efficiency criteria, it is proposed to use the efficiency coefficient for productivity and the coefficient of specific reduced costs. The comparative assessment of two variants of construction of outriggers of the automobile crane is carried out. The results show that the efficiency of using an improved outrigger increases with the number increase of shifts of the machine from one working position to another.

Kinematic Parameters of Gear Equalizers of Planetary Gearboxes of Construction Machinery and Equipment

Donbas National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture
Abstract. There are several technological methods for performing spatial modification of the teeth of gear couplings. These methods are based on one principle, the teeth are cut as well as they will work, i.e. already with some skew, forming a barrel-shaped profile. Spatial modification of the side surface of the teeth is a method for improving the performance of gear clutches. It is designed to equalize the load in the engagement and ensure linear contact of the working surfaces of the teeth. The paper presents a solution to the problem of determining the speed of relative movement of the teeth of the planetary gear equalizer, taking into account production and Assembly errors. In a coupling with a curved tooth-forming sleeve, in addition to sliding, there is also rolling of the contacting surfaces. Therefore, the wear of the gear in these boxes is less intense. Thus, using the theory of gearing, a solution is given that allows us to determine the geometric and kinematic parameters of the engagement of clutches made with an arbitrary tooth-forming sleeve.
