Study of the Strength of Concrete, Reinforced Concrete and Steel Fiber Concrete Slabs for High-Speed Impact with a Model Shell

a Tomsk State University of Architecture and Building, b Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics
Abstract. In the work, by means of a computer simulation technique, the features of the impact interaction of cylindrical steel impactors with concrete, reinforced concrete and steel fiber concrete plates in the range of velocities of 100-800 m/s are investigated. A comparison of experimental results with the data of mathematical modeling of impact interaction of steel cylinders with concrete slabs is given. To implement the model, the «RANET–3» software package was used, designed to solve impact and explosion problems in a full three-dimensional formulation, modified to solve dynamic problems by the finite element method. Dynamic fracture in concrete is considered as a process of growth and fusion of microdefects (cracks, pores) under the action of stresses generated during loading. The paper generalizes the model of deformation and fracture of fine-grained concrete under shockwave loading on steel fiber concrete.

Technical Analysis of Technological Characteristics of Mineral Compositions for the Protection of Reinforced Concrete Structures

Belarusian National Technical University
Abstract. Concrete and reinforced concrete structures exposed to long-term effects of atmospheric and underground water, water vapor, de-icing salts, etc.with cyclic freezing and thawing, especially in countries with continental and sharply continental climates, significantly reduce their technical characteristics, including durability, frost and corrosion resistance, in most cases after 5–10 years from the date of commissioning. The restoration of old or the installation of new protective coatings in existing facilities is a complex engineering task. In this regard, materials and technologies that ensure the normal operation of structures in the area and the conditions of negative impacts are of particular interest. This article provides an overview of generally accepted classifications of protective coatings. Information on current trends and development directions in the field of materials for protective coatings is summarized. The results of the analysis of some basic characteristics of the mineral compositions of the penetrating actions used for the device of protective coatings are presented.

Properties of an Asphalt Binder Based on an Organomineral Powder Containing Surfactants

Institute of Building, Architecture and Housing and Communal services of the Lugansk National University of the name of Vladimir Dahl
Abstract. Improving the properties of asphalt binders under ordinary conditions is achieved through the use of additional expensive surfactants that complicate not only the technology of preparation of asphalt binders, but also increase its cost. The multicomponent system, which is an organomineral powder from sewage sludge, allows to improve the adhesion of bitumen to the surface of mineral grains, improve the quality of asphalt concrete and improve the performance of the preparation of asphalt binder through the participation of surface-active substances and heavy metals in the formation of heterotrophic salts of humid acids, comprehensively -heterotrophic salts, chelate adsorption complexes containing metal in the anionic part of the molecules in the form of a cation capable of dissociation. Thus, the improvement of the properties of the asphalt binder using organomineral powder is ensured by the presence of surfactants in the sewage sludge, and the technology of preparing the asphalt binder is significantly cheaper.

The Limit States of the Brick Wall in the Opening Area over the Foundation

Donbas National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture
Abstract. In this article, the limiting conditions of the walls and the window sill of the wall were studied with changes in the pressure on the base as a result of the redistribution of loads on the base from special influences, for example, curvature of the earth’s surface during the undermining of the territory. For calculations, the research software package was used «PANAMA». The problem is solved in the framework of the theory of the plastic flow of masonry. The equations of the Coulomb Mohr theory of strength are used, in accordance with which the strength of the material depends on the level of volumetric tensile–compression stresses. The calculation results are evaluated by the level of stress and strain state of structures. The level of stress state refers to the ratio of stress intensity to the strength of materials. The value of the voltage level equal to unity indicates the flow of the material of the structure. The level of the deformed state is understood as the ratio of the strain intensity to the ultimate compressibility or elongation of the material. Ultimately, the state of the structure is estimated by the level of the deformed state. The value of the level of the deformed state of equal unity corresponds to the achievement of ultimate compressibility or elongation of the material. In this work, the limiting state of the structure is estimated by achieving the maximum compressibility of the masonry.

On the Results of the Donbass Scientific School in the Sphere of Design and Construction for the Needs of Small-Mobile Population Groups: Architectural Area

Donbas National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture
Abstract. The article is devoted to the history of the formation and development of the Donbas scientific school specializing in research in the field of design and construction for the needs of people with limited mobility. The authors analyze the available experience of scientists of the Donbas National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture in introducing some of the ideas and principles of this scientific direction in the process of preparing architectural, city-planning and engineering, land management and other specialties through the development of relevant topics of dissertation research and subsequent testing of the results in experimental and real design. It reveals the essence of the fundamental methodological differences of the Donbas school in comparison with some other scientific schools available in this field and areas dealing with similar research problems. Based on the review of the submitted materials, it is made a conclusion about the possibility and validity of the statement that on the basis of a certain team of scientists from the Academy’s architectural department, including their numerous followers in the face of graduates, a completely independent scientific school has been formed, the main field of activity of which is the development of design and construction issues for the needs of disabled people population groups in industrial cities of Donbas.
Keywords: low mobility population groups, universal and specific needs, design and construction issues, scientific schools and directions, stages of formation and development, creative contacts and scientific cooperation, commonality and fundamental differences, fragmentation and integrity of representation, industry-specific and interdisciplinary research, integrated and systematic scientific approaches, models of building dissertation research, theoretical and experimental design, review contests and expert assessment.

Concept of Architectural-Urban Planning Formation and Development of Scientific-Research Institutions of Subject to Reconstruction

Donbas National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture
Abstract. In the presented work, the main criteria for the formation of the architectural and urban planning organization of the architecture of buildings and structures for scientific research purposes to be reconstructed are considered. It has been formulated the main problems that determine the specifics of developing comprehensive recommendations and approaches in the field of architectural and urban development of research institutions that are subject to reconstruction. The most optimal principles, as well as the provisions of the main directions and approaches of innovative activity, which are created by modern research institutions of diversified activity, are characterized and determined. Priority architectural and urban planning decisions of buildings of research institutions are considered, which allow comprehensively reviewing and improving the nature of the city’s development during reconstruction. The fundamental components and criteria of the concept of architectural and urban formation and development for research activities are identified, which will ensure the architectural, urban, structural, technical and aesthetic requirements.
